FIG 602

AlienFrac Fig 602 hammer unions are 6,000 PSI NSCWP wing unions for manifold, line connection, truck-mounted and mud service. The resilient nitrile-butadiene lip-type seal provides primary sealing, helps protect the secondary metal-to-metal seat, and reduces flow turbulence. Available with threaded or butt-weld ends, black nut/orange subs, and full inspection support for oilfield flowline systems.

Fig 602 Hammer Union

Fig 602 is a compact medium/high-pressure hammer union designed for quick make-up and break-out in temporary or semi-permanent flowline connections. It is commonly selected when a 6,000 PSI connection is required but size and weight must remain manageable.

Key Features of Fig 602 Hammer Union

  • 6,000 PSI non-shock cold working pressure and 9,000 PSI hydrostatic test pressure.
  • Replaceable lip-type NBR / nitrile-butadiene seal ring for reliable pressure sealing.
  • Secondary metal-to-metal seating surface protected by the resilient seal ring.
  • Threaded and butt-weld end connections are available; quote pipe schedule for butt-weld orders.
  • Black nut and orange subs support fast visual pressure-class identification.
  • Common sizes include 1 in, 2 in, 3 in and 4 in. Custom configurations should be confirmed by drawing.

Applications

Typical applications include manifold and line connections, truck-mounted pumping systems, mud delivery and circulating lines, well-service flowlines, pressure-test loops, and verified Weco-style replacement systems.

Materials & QA

Use forged steel components with machined threads and sealing faces. For each order, confirm material grade, heat number traceability, seal material, inspection report, hydrostatic test requirement and any sour-service or low-temperature requirement.
